At Hungry Thaiger, we bring the authentic flavors of Thailand to our community; now in a space we’re proud to call our own. What began as a small takeout operation has grown into a full service restaurant, where guests can enjoy both dine in and takeaway.
With the addition of lunch service and an expanded menu, we’re excited to offer even more ways to experience the bold, traditional Thai flavors we’ve always been passionate about sharing with Calgary’s Southwest and beyond.
Our Story
The name Hungry Thaiger is more than just a playful nod to Thailand, it reflects our passion for bold, authentic Thai cooking.
Founded by a husband and wife team, our journey began in a community kitchen, where we built our business one order at a time. Our chef, who grew up in a bustling restaurant in Thailand, is the heart of everything we do. Her experience and love for cooking have shaped a menu rooted in tradition and driven by care.
What started as a ghost kitchen has grown into something more than we imagined. With the support of our community, we’ve taken the next step, opening a small, intimate dine-in restaurant where we can share our food in a more complete and welcoming way.
